Ahead of the release of the debut Zombie Disco Squad album ‘Brains’ on Jesse Rose’s Made to Play label, Nat Self joins forces with Chicago house legend DJ Funk to release his new single ‘Twerk’, out May 13th. Ready for the floor, ‘Twerk’ is raw house music underpinned by a classic Zombie Disco Squad bassline and DJ Funk’s ghetto house sensibility. The second single to be taken from ‘Brains’,‘Twerk’ is an unmissable introduction to one of the house records of the year. On the flipside Nat delivers ‘Ibiza Hooligan’, a percussive monster sure to heat up any dancefloor whether Balearic terrace or Dalston basement. A label with a deserved reputation for introducing some of house music’s most exciting artists, Made to Play’s policy of releasing just one album a year ensures the quality remains unquestionably high and ‘Brains’ follows in the footsteps of previous breakout long players from the likes of Riva Starr and Round Table Knights. The feedback sheet from the Twerk EP reads like a who's who's of dance music with a unusually diverse mix of artists supporting from Luke Solomon and Mandy to Erol Alkan and Joe Goddard from Hot Chip to name a few. With a residency at Berlin’s Watergate for Made For The Night and huge international demand for his DJ skills, London-born Nat will be making some serious noise this year as Zombie Disco Squad.
