I have tons of records that have been given to me over the years that I don't even get around to listening to until months and months after I've received them. "Somaphone 2: Grammar Sings the Classics; or, Everything You Hear Here* Is Me Beatboxing & Singing. *Except for the surf + seagull sound effects on track 4" by proGrammar is just one of those albums.
I can go on and on about why this album is one of the more provocative records I've listened to in a long time but I feel it's best displayed by the artist website. This guy is kind of like the Jandek of beat boxing-hard to describe why but, it's the first comparison that jumped in my head-mostly because what he's doing is so personal and at the same time oddly accessible.
